Have You Written Your Success Story?

I’m sure you have read a lot of network marketing success stories and you have been wowed by what these people have achieved.

From being a simple average earner employee, they have become millionaires working in the comfort of their homes. And then you think to yourself,  It sounds so easy I can do that. Then you start duplicating what these people have done. You would seem to be succeeding at first, but after a while you notice that your copied method is not sustaining your business. So, you ask yourself why?  What did you do wrong?

You are smart, intelligent, may even have a degree, but still did not make it? Does this mean that other people who do not even have masters or Phd’s, or have not even graduated from college, are better than you?

One of your friends may be just a happy-go-lucky lady, who likes to party with friends and have never taken any business seriously and yet is earning six figures a month.

A mother of two may have just started with her fellow PTA members and now has networks of hundreds of downlines, whom she manages at home.

A man with no job at all may have begun with handing out brochures and leaflets on street corners and now drives his own car. So you wonder why you, a college graduate, a master or Phd holder, can’t seem to do it right? Something must be wrong. Well, there is nothing wrong. You are simply not doing the right thing for you.

The Success Stories that we hear make it all sound easy and fail-safe. The truth is, it is not. Actually, it is not about the perfect style or method. It is about what is the strategy that would work perfectly for you. You see, what works effectively for others does not necessarily mean that it will work as effectively for you.

It is about finding the right or perfect method for you it is about compatibility.  Every individual has his or her unique sets of values and attitudes that make up his or her personality. And every individual is different you are unique. You have to find the type of business and the kind of marketing methods and strategy to promote your business that work best for you.

Your happy-go-lucky friend is fun to be with and loved by her friends and even people who have just met her. She is a natural when it comes to winning friends trust just by being her vivacious self. The mother of two is a caring friend who shows genuine concern for the other parents at the PTA and truly wants to help them out. Other people can see that in her so she wins their confidence and trust. The man with no job has nothing much to lose and everything to gain.

He’s not embarrassed to be standing there on the streets, handing out brochures with a genuine smile on his face. What am I saying here is ask yourself, what are you willing to do for your business? Think of something that you truly love doing and everything else would follow.

Create The Power of Think and Grow Rich

DonorsChoose.org_468x60V1

There is an old saying that says ‘a book is a house of gold’. For many this great book Think And Grow Rich, has enabled many people to find there fortune. It has indeed sold many copies, but what kind of benefits can be had from this book?

In 1937 a book was released that was to change the business world. This book made so many people become inspired to find there own wealth, with a principle not often heard at that time, and that was to use your mind. In essence to think and grow rich!

Since its release, looking at my copy, I find that many  editions have been produced!  So why is Think And Grow Rich so popular? Indeed we see that millions of copies have been sold, and the title may make us inspired to buy, but there is something more to all those millions of copies being sold, and it involves the amount of success stories it has brought to the world, and also the other benefits.

The book will change your  life. At any age when many people are considering the latest computer games, and getting a job,  read this  book and see your  future become successful..

Like many people, Think And Grow Rich came into there lives and helped them in major ways. It for many is the first route into personal development, and one I recommend for all.

You see, many people go to school, get there education and start working for someone. For many people in 1937 when the book was released, were living life with no understanding of what is available to them, and what they really could achieve. The emphasis was getting a stable job, and you will be set for life.

Well the world does not operate like that, even though for many, even today, may appear as such. You have infinite resources available to you. And if this seems hard to swallow, then I suggest you read the book.

I have nothing to win or loose by telling you to read the book. What I do get, is the satisfaction that ‘yes, another person has finally got it’. Many people go through life and never try to be all they can be. And this book is one of those gems that show you that you can live life on your terms. Just remember this is not the easy route. There are no easy routes to success.

Looking at the book may give you the impression that it is designed for all those people who hold money as a symbol of power, the get rich types who simply want the money. But, Think And Grow Rich is much more than that. It tells you how to get whatever you want, and has many thought provoking questions.

So, is Think And Grow Rich just another book that will tell you how to get wealthy? This book does not contain any tips on wealth creation, but that of mindset. It is the foundations and building blocks for wealth. I know, after reading this book, and applying the lessons  I have started to see the  fruits it talks about manifest in my life, as it can in yours.

Think And Grow Rich, written by Napoleon Hill, is a book which has the essence of success made know to Napoleon Hill by some of the richest people in his time. It is a philosophy that can be attributed to many wealthy people today.

 Don’t Ever Give Up

“If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you like to win, but you think you can’t,

It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,

For out in the world we find,

Success begins with a fellow’s will -

It’s all in the state of MIND.

If you think you’re outclassed, you are,

You’ve got to think high to rise,

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles, don’t always go

To the stronger or faster man

But soon or later the man who wins

Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!”

Hug this one close and take it to bed with you every night! Re-visit the book if you’ve read it and brainwash yourself into successful thinking.

Are you a 3 Percenter?

When it comes to MLM Statistics, just what is a 3 Percenter? You’re at a meeting, you overhear a quick comment….. Terry’s  a 3 percenter…ever happen to you? Usually you’ll hear this kind of remark from another MLMer who has been in the business for a while
A 3 percenter refers to the typical success ratio in network marketing businesses, according to some MLM statistics. For instance, how many people have you sponsored?  How many are successful?

When an MLM  opportunity starts are you  gaining approval and getting  tons of people join up. Great! But how many make a real income from participating?

Past figures show only about 3 percent of the sign-ups will make any real income in network marketing. It is even more surprising  that  only 1 percent or less will make a large income.  What percentage are you? Are you, one of the people not in the top 3 percent, not in the profitable part of the MLM statistics?  Most people come into the business, they work some, they  sponsor a couple of people, they attend a few meetings and webinars.  Then they  stop coming or move on to another opportunity. Some may spend themselves into debt, continue to come, but still not make any money.

After I found out what a 3 Percenter was in MLM statistics, I wanted to know how I could become one. The answer?  Well Too often in MLM, the answer I always  hear is

You need a big why

or

You have to want it bad enough

or

Have you really committed to success?

Of these answers, sadly none fills the bill.

First you have to PRACTICE

Now that you have the tools and you have studied what to do, now it is time to practice the techniques. You have to consistently practice what you have learned on a regular basis. Don’t think because you called 5 people, you are going to be an immediate success. I tell people all the time “Just because I work at home, doesn’t mean I don’t work”. You are going to have to work. People don’t go to college to get a degree so they don’t have to work.

Visualize yourself on a big beach in Washington State, the kind that has those rocks all over the place, and you are out there picking up each rock looking underneath it for gold. Now there are thousands of rocks on that beach and it’s going to take you a while, so you need to develop the skills of focus, determination, and persistence.

Robert Kiyosaki’s definition of wealth is the number of days you (or anyone else in your household) can survive without physically working, and still maintain your standard of living. Using this definition, you can measure your wealth by calculating how long you could survive if you, and/or your spouse, lost the ability to work tomorrow, how long would it be before you lost everything you owned. If you come up short – do you have a plan to remedy the situation?

The enormous potential of Network Marketing as an effective supplemental income has been noted by experts on finances and success such as Robert Kiyosaki, author of the popular Rich Dad series.  “Network Marketing gives people the opportunity, with very low risk and low financial commitment, to build their own income-generating asset and acquire great wealth,” Kiyosaki says.

Starting a business doesn’t have to involve huge risks with careers or finances
In other words, you have to use real skills and real savvy to succeed.  Just having a big reason for success won’t do it.  A commitment to success won’t do it – but it helps. There are three distinct types of people in this world. You have those who see, those who see when they are told and those who will never see.

The more I learn about MLM and look at MLM statistics, the more I see that the best educated, those who can really do the work, win

The Starfish Fable

One day a man was walking along a beach which was covered as far as the eye could see with starfish washed up after a storm. The man came across a small boy picking up starfish and returning them to the water. He watched the boy for a while and then asked, ‘Why are you doing that?’

The boy replied, ‘The starfish will die if they don’t get back into the water.’
The man responded, ‘There are so many of them; it is impossible to help them
all.’ Then he added, ‘What difference will it make to put back those few?’
The small boy picked up another starfish and returned it to the water, saying, ‘It
made a difference to that one.’

One at a time was being returned. One step at a time determines your future; one person, helped to achieve their goals, brings the possibility of the same to millions more around the world and will help create a better world for all of us.

In our society today almost everybody has the desire to do more — to have more — to be more but very few of us take the blinders off long enough to even notice what is going on around us.

Some of the things we need to do to be a 3 Percenter…….

Opportunity:
The block of granite that was an obstacle in the path of the weak becomes a stepping stone in the path of the strong

Vision:
The best way to see the future is to create it.

Attitude:
What happens to a person is less significant than what happens with that person.

Possiblities:
The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible.

Are you one of the few that is willing to do what it takes to be, do and have all that you desire.  I have a vision and a goal to help as many others be do and have all that they desire.

My question to you now is:

Are you like me — one of the 3 percenters in the world that has the burning desire to be to do and have so much more and to be do and have all that you can imagine for yourself?

“The contrast of the current financial situation is great, because your prospects are starting to realize that all the things that they thought about education, jobs, security and money are shifting. This makes them much more open to “unconventional” types of businesses like yours. More importantly YOU are starting to see how smart and progressive you were to attract a network-marketing opportunity into your life. YOUR belief is now stronger than ever, that you have something they NEED! If you’ve been in your business for a while, thank God you haven’t quit! If you just got started in network-marketing you’re a genius!

To Your Success,

Are Your Goals Attainable?

Create a Radio Show and Reach Millions.

Network marketers must set goals. Many  however, have no clue as to how to set viable goals to assure the success of their network marketing business.

How often have you found yourself saying something like, “I’d like a huge
downline and a beach house in Hawaii ,” or, “I want to be the same size I
was in high school?” How many times have you actually mapped out what it
would take to make those things happen?

Don’t mistake wishing or wanting for goal-setting. Simply desiring your network marketing business to take off so you can quit your job won’t bring it much closer to becoming reality.  Setting a goal to achieve a specific end,  however, is a completely different story.

Your goals must be meaningful to you. This should go without saying, but every day I see people trying to achieve goals set for them by others.  Don’t let others set your goals. Become the person you were meant to be.

To be effective, your goals must be specific. “I want to make a lot of money ,” is not a goal. You must state how much you will accomplish, and by what date you will have this done. “I want to earn $5,000 a month in residual income by the end of this year,” is a valid goal.

For goals to be specific, you must write them down. Many insist using paper and pen, but I find typing mine on my computer worksjust fine. That way, I can continually edit and update them.

“The reason most people don’t achieve their goals is that they didn’t really set them in the first place.” – Dr Dennis Waitley

Written goals provide direction to your activities, kind of like a road map. With so much information out there, it’s sometimes difficult to know which steps to take and when. By reviewing your written goals, you get a better sense of what needs to be done right now.

When writing goals, begin with brainstorming. This means dreaming. Write down, uncensored, everything you’d like to have in your life, from now until the end of your life.  Don’t even think about it. Just write. When you finish this, make another list of goals. Limit this to things you want to accomplish in the next twelve months.
Make sure these goals mesh with your longer term goals.

The next step is very important. In order for goals to be realized, a price must be paid.  It’s like in physics, the whole “for every action there exists an equal and opposite reaction” thing.  Nothing is free.

Your task, then, is to erase those goals you’re not willing to pay the price
for. For instance, if your goal is to live in Southern France, but your mate wants to live close to family, are you willing to do what it takes to achieve that goal?  If not, it’s not doable, and is not a viable goal.

Remember Goals + Actions = Results. Therefore you need to make a commitment towards implementing your action plan.

Once you have your short and long term goals written down, you must break them down into smaller, more manageable chunks. For example, if it’s your goal to recruit fifty new downline members in twelve months, how many will you need to recruit in 90 days?

What will you need to do in those 90 days to make that happen? What do you need to do next week? Tomorrow?  Right now?  Make a list of activities you simply must do to attain these goals. This keeps it real.

Which brings me to another point .To be challenging and motivating, your goals must be perceived as attainable. I’ve seen people set some pretty lofty goals, only to feel an overwhelming sense of failure when they couldn’t achieve them. Small, even baby steps sometimes are necessary to build confidence.

Rewrite your goals every 3 months or so. If you’re like me, your goals are constantly changing to some degree. Rewriting helps keep them, and you, focused on what you really want and are striving for.

Written goals help you end up where you want to be, kind of like a boat with oars, or even a motor and a rudder.
Contrast that with the majority of people who, it seems, float aimlessly and have no clue where they’ll end up.

Which boat would you rather be in?

Set goals, but don’t forget to have some fun by rewarding yourself when you do reach your goals.

As they say, in life, there are no secrets to success. It’s the right attitude that makes your dreams come true.
