The Qualities of Leadership

CorpNet® Incorporation Services

Have you ever sat in the airport people watching and taking guesses about them by their appearances and what they are carrying? Thinking “Oh, there is a stay at home mom or there is a guy on a business trip?” Seeing how people carry themselves and the attitude they have tells you a lot about them and their lives.

It is the same in your home business. You can be a brand new marketer from day one who has the posture of a leader and will gain a team rather quickly or you can be a person who has been in the industry for years and who knows everything there is to know but does not have the posture to pull it off. Which one would you rather be?

I know the choice is the obvious one but now you are wondering how to become the one perceived as a leader on day one.  Confidence, attitude, and posture= Leader.

Confidence comes with belief- belief in yourself, your business, your product, your leaders and your industry. Believe in these things and you will have the confidence that you need to be a leader both in and out of your network marketing business. It will come across in your voice on the phone, the way you talk to people when you are out and about, and in every part of your daily life.

Attitude comes from knowing that you have something that will change someones life if they choose to make that choice. Not everyone that you speak to will see the opportunity in your business that you see but you are looking for the ones that do. Attitude comes from knowing that you are the one handing someone the key to their dreams and desires. Attitude is not thinking that they are doing you a favor by looking at your business but that you are doing them one.

Posture is knowing how to handle yourself even when you don’t have all of the answers. It is keeping it together when you have a tough question, a tough prospect, a tough day.

It is staying in the game and carrying yourself like a pro whether it is your day one in the business or your day 100. Posture is not what you say but how you say it.

When you combine all three of these you will have a lethal combination.

To Your Success!

DO YOU HAVE A VISION?

Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise- Remember this?  Yes, this is one among many that has gained more popularity in the 21st century. People wave around different facets of life and the hope to be healthy, wealthy and intelligent. All the three are blended to deliver a well balanced life. A man feels the utmost happiness when all these wishes are fulfilled. What’s behind all these? It is SUCCESS of getting happiness from  good health, wealth and proper intelligence.

Wealth gained through intelligence yields happiness.   Some people make best use of their intelligence and fulfill their demands. But some are not able to fulfill, why? Simple, the intelligence differs. It is the intelligence that works out to bring out the hidden potentials and motivates towards success. When the motivation level comes down, your intelligence gets out from the event. Happiness acquired from hard work and dedication makes a man healthy physically, spiritually and emotionally.

When you have a vision, you know how to reach it. Your vision motivates you to make your dream a reality. But, some fail, why? All their goals have a single purpose- success. Motivation is the success factor and is less in them. The reduced motivation prohibits them from moving forward towards a pro-active action. This plays a significant role in their career. They get depressed because of less motivation and do not know how to outfox the overwhelming challenges in their business.

For a successful business career, it is important for all to have great desires. Building a relationship is simple with your attitude. Respect for Human values gives a man the power to make and retain relationships. Your relationship paves you the way to develop team standards. To remain bright and productive, one should focus on his desires and move forward. Realize the real value of money and time and work hard on your goals to meet success. Human goals should be set based on the vision of what you wish to achieve in your life.

A clear vision determines the actions you do and how you do. Remember, success of your life comes from happiness derived of having good wealth, health (physical, spiritual and emotional) and intelligence. Self empowerment is the key for any actions. Your life is in your hand; taste the success of your life.

The Reason People Succeed In Network Marketing

Apple iTunes

It’s been said that there are two reasons people become successful in network marketing. Everything else is just icing on the cake. I would disagree. There is only one.

The two reasons most people give are….. That you have a marketing system in place, and  that you are perceived as a leader. This is somewhat redundant, as I’ll explain.

You will not be perceived as a leader unless you truly are a leader. It’s a quality that cannot be faked. And if you are indeed a true leader, you will have a marketing system in place.

If you are perceived as a leader, others instinctively pick up on the fact that you are someone who can make big things happen for people. How is it that you’re perceived as a leader? Is it something you’re born with, like George Washington or Napoleon, or can you develop leadership qualities within yourself?

Well, if it is something you inherit, I would not be here today. I’ve been an introvert most of my life, and have been content following the direction of others. That all began to change when I tapped into personal development and growth as I grew In life. . I learned that anyone with normal brain function can condition him or herself to become a leader.

So, what is it about you that people follow? Is it your natural charm, your good looks, the car you drive? What they follow is your perceived value. A question to ask yourself right now is this: Why would anyone want to do business with me? What value could I potentially offer?

If you find these questions difficult to answer, good. That’s a starting point. If you can’t perceive your own value, how can a prospect perceive that value? That’s a sign it’s time to work on yourself.

I don’t care what kind of marketing techniques you use; all success begins within. Let me say that again. All success begins within.

There is a myth that states that new things will make a new you. That’s why we’re so focused on buying that new car or getting that new job. Have you ever quit a job for another job, and found out that the only thing that changed was the color of the carpet?

If you don’t take concrete steps to change what’s inside of you, then you’re locked in an unending cycle. You’ve probably experienced this already. Soon enough, your new co-workers start to resemble your old ones. Your new car starts to remind you of your old clunker. Nothing really changes.

The truth is that a new you will attract new things. The Bible even says to “Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all other things shall be added unto you.” It’s the exact same thing I’m talking about here. You need to work harder on yourself than you do anything else, including your marketing. It is indeed a fact that your state of life reflects your state of mind.

If the old you is not attracting the kinds of prospects you want, then immediately get to work on the new you. Take every course you can find, both online and off.  Focus particularly on courses on personal development. Build that person you want to become.

Have you ever seen a group of dogs together? Very quickly, they establish a hierarchy. The leader, or dominant dog, is the Alpha male or female. In everyday social situations, humans do the same thing, only we’re not so obvious.

Every successful person you see today is an Alpha. From the President, to rock stars and actors, every one of them has a dominant leader quality. If not, they wouldn’t have been able to gather such a following. It’s this quality that attracts prospects to you.

Education is the key. Your prospects want something they don’t have, and it’s not just money. If you can demonstrate through your knowledge and experience that you can help them get what they want, they’ll follow you anywhere.

Where are you Going In 2012?

DreamTemplate - Web Templates

It’s a time-honored tradition. Every year, as the New Year rolls in, just about everyone takes time to reexamine the course of their lives. We think about our health, our weight, our financial standing and about the future.

Every year we make our resolutions and
we vow that this year we will actually keep them.

Yet we know from experience that the odds are against us. Sooner or later we are bound to give up. In fact, studies show that most people who make resolutions break them by the third week in January. One issue is timing: Exhausted after the holidays, people are not well-equipped to make life changes.

Simply knowing that our resolutions are good for us doesn’t seem to be enough. We know that losing weight and getting in shape will allow us to feel better and live healthier, but it’s not enough. We know that getting into action and building our businesses will bring with it better financial health and even complete financial independence, but it’s still not enough.

What’s missing? Where are you really going?

We seem to envy those who have achieved what we desire. We envy those who are in shape. We envy those who have built strong businesses despite a faltering economy. The key is not to envy or sulk but to study and learn what makes these people capable of achieving what we dream about.

Saveolgy.com

Regardless of your past accomplishments or failures, you are fully capable of achieving your dreams. The issue is not what you can or cannot do today but what you are capable of learning and applying in the future. The bottom line is that you are the only person who can cheat you out of success. And you can only do this when you give up.

People who achieve their goals know that nothing will be handed to them on a silver plate. Diet products the world over promise fast results with low effort. Anyone who has ever tried a diet product for more than a month knows that there’s a little more to losing weight and keeping it off it than that. Some people realize this and take the other actions needed to achieve results; namely they exercise and watch their caloric intake – they make a lifestyle change. The diet product can help in achieving results but it’s not a magic solution. Yet many people assume that when a diet product fails, it’s the fault of the diet product. And so, like misguided children, they move from one diet product to the next looking for a solution that doesn’t exist.

Success in network marketing is no different. People often look to a product or “system” to solve all of their marketing problems and deliver success. It pains me how many times I hear people blame others, their leads, their products, their company, their upline, for their failure. But that’s human nature isn’t it? We always blame ourselves last. And that may be the real difference between those who achieve their dreams and goals and those who don’t.

Achievers take responsibility for their own actions. By doing that, they know that they are the ones that need to change. If they feel unmotivated, they don’t blame their upline, product or service. Instead they figure out how to get motivated. If they have trouble getting into action, they learn how to schedule and prioritize. They don’t make excuses. If they fear talking to prospects, they learn how prospects think, what they expect and how to build rapport. If they have trouble with technology they read a book or take a class to overcome it.

Taking responsibility for your own actions leaves you in control. It empowers you to become the master of your own destiny. This doesn’t mean that systems won’t fail or that products and services will always be marketable. Those corrections can be made at any time. But before you look outside yourself for the problem, always look to yourself first. What could you do differently, what could you learn that could solve the problem. Then go out and do it.

As you make changes in your life, realize that change can be difficult. No matter what changes you are trying to make, research indicates that you must maintain positive action for at least three to six months before reaching anything close to stability – before it becomes a part of “the new you.” Before stability, the danger always exists of relapsing into old behaviors.

Relapse is often looked at as failure. But this doesn’t have to be if you look at it as a learning experience. The mark of an achiever is to acknowledge that you didn’t make it, figure out what you need to do differently and go forward from there.

It’s the start of a brand new year. All possibilities are open to you. The choice between success and failure is up to you. Where are you going?
